- 1,5 hours stationary bike (39 km, level 6)
- 1 hour elliptical
- pop pilates inner thigh insanity (10 min) x 3
i’m ditching weights and any form of ab workouts today. planking for 60 minutes yesterday really killed me! lol i had a really hard time getting off my bed this morning.
3rd day of uni kicked my arse. i think my wednesdays will be really tough this semester. like today, i had biochem lecture at 10-11am which left me “asdfgjhkl helpp”. hopefully this is just because my brain is still jet-lagged from summer break, but yeah the subject is reallyyy detailed and lots of textbook readings need to be done (same with chemistry reactions and synthesis, oh wait...

- 1,5 hours stationary bike (39 km, level 6)
- 30 min elliptical
- around 25 min of foam rolling
- 20 x 3 min plank. lol that was fun, planking for 60 min in a day is definitely in the bucket list of things i must do before i die :p i did 4 sets before going to uni, 3 sets during break between lectures, then 13 sets after i got back from the gym. i wouldn’t be doing something like...

Anonymous asked: Whose telling you to quit the running squad??

why i'm so pissed today
i might have to quit the running squad. which means no cross country and no track. and probably no road racing as well.
i know i’m still a newbie but running IS my life since last year.
seriously even if i really have to quit the squad… i can stop running because of valid reasons like getting injured, but i won’t stop being a runner. it’s not that simple.

long post with some swearing
So i had a god awful run this morning and i’m still really upset with the fact that my knees are still fucking hurting even though it’s definitely not as bad as last month. This whole day, I keep thinking about stuff like “what if i’ll never be able to run like i used to again? what if i’m stuck with these injuries for a really, really long time?” I know I...

Lent
I’m Catholic and so is the rest of my family. Usually the only thing that we give up for lent is meat and that’s only for wednesdays and fridays (I think this is the most common thing to do by Catholics in Indonesian). But i’ve decided to do something different this year. So far i’ve been doing quite awful nutrition-wise and i think lent is a good opportunity to fix my...

- 12 km run in 1:02:13 (5:11 min/km). woopp back to my “easy run” pace! :) that, indeed, felt easy. i still worked up quite a lot of sweat and breathing a bit hard, but definitely not like massively gasping for air all the way. i also didn’t feel any significant pain on my knees and shins this morning. i was planning to just run 10 km this morning, but then decided to...
The five stages of running
An hour before running: I don't wanna run today.
5 minutes before running: I'm pumped! Let's do this!
While running: Can't breathe... Must keep going... Run to the rhythm of my music... Don't die...
5 minutes after running: Everything's awesome! I love running! I could run for the rest of my life!
An hour after running: I. Am going. To die.
